2026-27 Information

26-27 Online Pre-K Application

The West Perry Pre-K program is funded by the Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts Grant. The grant contains two primary eligibility requirements a child must meet in order to participate in the program:

  • Age eligibility - children age 3 or 4 by September 1st are eligible for the program.  4-year-olds are prioritized in the enrollment process.
  • Income eligibility - Families whose income is at or below 300% of the federal poverty level

Please review the 2026-27 Pre-K Enrollment Prioritization Plan and 2026-27 PreK Enrollment Prioritization Rubric to understand how enrollment decisions are made. Transportation is provided.

In mid to late May, a district Pre-K staff member will reach out to all families who submitted a complete application and all required documentation. At that time, families will be offered a slot in the Pre-K program or informed they are on the waitlist. The initial contact will be via a phone call with a follow-up email if necessary. Upon acceptance of the classroom or waitlisted slot, the district staff member will follow up with a mailed letter confirming the child’s placement for the 2025-2026 school year.
