West Perry Pre-K teachers use a variety of resources to plan and implement high-quality Pre-K instruction in the classroom. Below are brief descriptions of each one:


PA Early Education Standards

  • Framework for instruction

Creative Curriculum Heggerty  Eureka Math PATHS

- Aligned with the PA Early Learning Standards 

-Promotes the use of exploration and discovery 

- Helps children develop confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills.

 

- Contains lessons to support phonemic awareness development (hearing the sounds in words)

-Examples: rhyming, blending sounds, segmenting sounds 

- Also used in Kindergarten

 

- Aligned with PA Core Standards

- Contains lessons and materials that help young children connect the real world with math, build confidence, and increase fluency

-Also used K-5

 

 

 

- Contains lessons and materials that help your children develop better self-control, self-esteem, emotional awareness, basic problem-solving skills, and social skills
