Comprehensive Plan

Comprehensive Plan

A draft of the 2021 West Perry Comprehensive Plan is available for public review. Due to the pandemic, the former plan, which was set to expire in November of 2020, was extended for one year by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

The three main goals were derived from broad stakeholder engagement. This included student, staff, and community surveys, a district-wide Thought Exchange, and multiple faculty committees. These goals are:

  • Improving student attendance
  • Improving secondary math growth
  • Implementing evidence-based social-emotional learning programs in all grades

Following a 28-day period for public review, the plan will be presented to the West Perry School Board for approval.
