Athletics

West Perry School District provides students an opportunity to participate in a variety of athletic teams, including football, field hockey, baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer, track & field, basketball and wrestling.

We are a member of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA), PIAA District III and the Mid Penn Conference.

Questions regarding the athletic teams or schedules can be directed to West Perry's Athletic Director, Ryan Anderson,  via email to [email protected] or phone at 717-789-3931 x5415.

Return to Extracurricular Activities

At the June 22, 2020 Public Board Meeting, West Perry’s Return to Extracurricular Activities plan was approved. This plan goes into effect immediately and will enable extra-curricular activities to resume on the West Perry campus. West Perry activities will begin under the yellow phase and students should look for more specific information from their coaches or activity leaders regarding practices.  Families should review the plan and the extracurricular participation waiver. Waivers must be submitted before students may participate in extracurricular activities.

West Perry School District Athletic Schedules are posted on our Big Teams site. On this website, click the Calendar to view all events for a particular date. Alternatively, select the specific sport (under the season) to view the entire schedule. Additionally, ArbiterLive displays team schedules for Mid-Penn schools, including West Perry.

Activity Bus

Students participating in after school athletic activities can use the activity bus. The activity bus schedule and drop-off locations are located on the district website under Services>Transportation>Activity Bus Schedule

Sports Passes

West Perry All Seasons Sports passes are available to anyone and are accepted at all West Perry home events (excluding PECO and PIAA District and State playoff events).

An Adult pass is $50.00 and a Student pass is $25.00 and are valid for any sports, during any season, for the entire school year for which the pass was purchased.

Passes can be purchased from the ticket booth at any home event or by contacting the Athletic Department.

Code of Conduct

As a public face of the district, West Perry student athletes are expected to demonstrate personal conduct that is above reproach, as outlined in the Extra-Curricular/Athletic Department Code of Conduct. Prior to the first scheduled practice or third scheduled meeting for any extra-curricular activity, students and parents must review the Code of Conduct and electronically sign it on the PowerSchool Student/Parent Portal. Review the instructions for electronically signing the code of conduct.
